Mr. Jollymore is a 1970 graduate
of the University of Minnesota at Duluth where he earned his Bachelor of Arts
Degree in English literature with minor study in art history and psychology.
He was confirmed Master of Arts there in 1977 in English and American literature
with minor study in philosophy and art history. He, further, studied at California
State Universtiy, Hayward (CSUH) and Laney and Chabot Colleges pursuing the
fields of architecture, journalism and education. He holds a clear, California
teaching credential with CLAD certification and has completed one year of
study toward Teacher of Reading credential at CSUH, a graduate degree. .
Mr. Jollymore interned at the St. Louis County Historical
Society, served as agent at New York Life, marketed and managed for Honeywell,
Inc., designed and marketed in the kitchen and bath business and operated
his own firm, Finnish Design prior to joining the teaching staff at Skyline
in January 1997.
In Summer 2002, Jollymore attended the American Society of Newspaper Editors
Summer Institute hosted by University of Maryland and Hampton University in
College Park, Maryland. There he established a sound professional basis for
his role as advisor to The Oracle. He attended College Board Certified
AP English Language Institute at University of San Diego in July, 2002.
He has three children all of whom have graduated from Skyline High School.
Mr. Jollymore's hobbies include hiking, reading, photography, computer creation, backpacking, traveling, and music. He plays the guitar, banjo and clarinet.
