6th Marking Journalism Project

Form production groups of no more than 7 people.

You must fill these positions:

 

Anchor Person – supervises the operation AND writes and reads the new script

Sports Announcer – writes and reads the sports script

Weather Announcer – writes and reads the weather script

Feature Announcer – writes and reads the feature script

Interviewer – interviews for anchor and feature positions

Researcher – finds photos, maps, pictures, logos for all the stories.

Technical Advisor – assists researcher and makes POWER POINT or WEB presentation for the show

You must fill no less than 15 minutes of GOOD air time with news, sports, weather and feature presentations. You may do any stories you want BUT remember the following:

No risqué or obscene material will be allowed

You must have visual support for your story

The story should SEEM or BE a real story

An interview must be filmed for two segments at least

Everyone must work together to make it a success.
