Monday -
Objective: Students will increase knowledge of character analysis.
Activity
:Based on your reading of Perspectives of Hawthorne and McCall (160-162) we hold a class debate, focusing on questions on 162, 163. using your notes in paragraph form prepared for the discussion. Continue with Bartleby as time allows.
Information -
Homework: Finish steps 1-4 on Bartleby. Prepare a word-processed copy to share and submit Tuesday. Re-read Baglady (163-166); questions 1-5 if you have not done so already. Submit tomorrow.


Tuesday -
Objective:Students will increase knowledge of character analysis.
Activity
:Discuss Baglady from character point of view. Groups do read-around of Modern Bartleby from selected Character's point of view. Submit word processed work on Bartleby.
Information -
Homework: Review Wuthering Heights in preparation for tomorrow's M/C test. Bring your copy of Wuthering Heights to class for discussion tomorrow.

Wednesday -

: Multiple Choice test on Wuthering Heights - Discussion of the novel.
Information -
Homework: Primp and set out your best fit for pictures tomorrow. Read the introduction to your edition of The Picture of Dorian Gray. Tomorrow, come prepared to answer some questionsbased on this introduction during the photo shoot.


Thursday -

:English Classes will Take Pictures. As time allow, disscussion of last nights homework and current reading.
Information -
Homework: Read - Mr. J's copy of "Introduction to Dorian Gray." There will be a short quiz on the sturcture of this piece. Prepare an annotated outline of the subjects covered in this "Introduction" for submittal tomorrow.

Friday -
Objective: Students will develop and expose knowledge on a passage from Wuthering Heights.
Activity
: Timed writing on Wuthering Heights.
Information -
Homework: Read Chapters 1-6 in Dorian Gray. Come dressed for Monday's "Cocktail Party."
