Homework: Do a word history on "linguist" and on "dictate" and submit on Wednesday. Ask questions tomorrow if you are unsure about this word history . Read assigned Chapters in Moby Dick. Pick up a copy of Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness. Read something on line ABOUT the book and be ready, by Friday, to offer some ideas of how to approach the book.
