Activity
: Final reading and explication of MACBETH.
Information - Multiple choice in the AP English Literature Test
Homework: Review MACBETH and the prompt for tomorrow's writing session. Scan the sample M/C test.

Wednesday -
Objective: Students will demonstrate facility with AP Literature prompts.
Activity
: Forty minute in-class writing of an AP free write prompt.
Information -
Homework: Work through questions 1 - 29 prose and poetry of the M/C practice. Be ready tomorrow to 1) defend your answers and 2) to explain the process you went through to come to your answer.


Thursday -
Objective: Students will learn to approach AP M/C correctly.
Activity
: Debrief on answers to M/C tests; Discuss processes and provisos.
Information -
Homework: Complete a timed session of 30 minutes of M/C practice - finish the test but note the question at which you work when time expires. Note: clear all other work, activities and distractions from the area, then set a reliable timer for 30 minutes before you begin. Accept no calls or messages, no interruptions during this period.

Friday -
Objective: Students will learn to approach AP M/C correctly.

: Debrief on answers to M/C tests; Discuss processes and provisos.
Information -
Homework: Read Acts I and II of HAMLET. Expect a quiz on the plot and characters on Monday.
