Reading we have done as a class: Moby Dick, Huckleberry Finn, Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Bear, James Baldwin, The Crucible, The Ballad of the Sad Café and selections from The Norton Reader. I would recommend just paging through the notes, assignments and tables of contents of these books to refresh the memory. Certainly, if you have not read the pieces you should do so before the exam.
