Homework:

Monday - Enjoy all that Cesar Chavez's accomplishments on behalf of all people who work. Polish your debate speeches.

Tuesday - Read through the Late Moderns, and select TWO titles to read. Sign up is Wednesday before the debate.


Wednesday - Obtain your Late Moderns books and bring to class Thursday for credit.

Thursday - Read the first two chapters of BOTH Late Moderns books in preparations for a quiz before the debate.

Friday - Choose one of the two Late Moderns books to read over the break. Finish the book, compose TWO responses: One for your Early Moderns book (Gatsby, Sound or Sun), the second for your first Late Moderns book. Please submit April 12, 2010 during class.

Readings: Read the first two chapters in EACH Late Moderns books you choose.

Writing: Write both Early and Late Moderns JP Book Response (full form). Due April 12, 2010, a Monday.

In class: Monday - No class.

Tuesday - Preparation for debate and a single debate.

Wednesday - A single debate.

Thursday - Reading quiz. A Single debate.
Friday - A single debate and directions for the week off. Rest, relax, read and write.

Vocabulary: Found words listing by students; no new given vocabulary. Quiz deadline on last week's words is reset to Thursday, April 1st [no foolin'] at passing bell to 5th period.

Quizzes: On your two books, chapters 1 and 2. Vocabulary quiz - individual.
