Homework: On sucessive nights study 1st marking vocabulary and 1st marking readings (Monday), 2nd marking vocabulary and readings(Tuesday) and Word of the Day and from-the-board vocabulary (Tuesday) - all vocabulary review (Wednesday). Write the abreviated Junior Project Response for Realism (Thursday), and review all reading from this and last marking period to be able to recognize authors, titles and relevant information such as positions, quotations and rhetorical elements. A fall break writing assignment will be given on Thursday, November 19th. Due in rough form Tuesday, December 1, 2009.
Readings: Review JP Book and critical articles for the JP Response; review all reading from the baginning of the year which can be found in NORTON and 50 ESSAYS.
Writing: Realist Junior Project Response.
In class: Monday - Mandala presentations.
Tuesday - Review writing final; style sheet 3; do a free write on our integrity and issues of diversity.
Wednesday -Class vocabulary and reading contest. Four groups of scholars will contend for incredible prizes.
Thursday - Vocabulary FINAL:: 200 words in multiple choice format. 160 given words; 20 words of the day (September and October,2009), 20 words-from-the-board.
Friday - Year to date FINAL for reading: questions pertaining to all readings in NORTON and 50 ESSAYS.
Vocabulary FINAL ON THURSDAY
Quizzes: LAST GROUP OF WORDS BY PASSING BELL TO 5TH PERIOD.
Testing: VOCABULARY THRUSDAY; READING FINAL FRIDAY.
